North Campus program manager Dr. Jeff Smith organized Wounded Warrior Day at North Campus, providing free oral hygiene for 26 veteran/students of the College. Smith also arranged for Wounded Warriors to be “adopted” by local dentists to provide dental care for a year, a service which their veterans benefits don’t provide. The Wounded Warriors also had access to haircuts and massages provided by cosmetology and massage therapy students at North Campus. Smith organized the event and recruited volunteers as a way to “give back” to veterans who have given much to all of us.
