Florida State College’s 10th Bachelor’s Degree Approved by Florida Board of Education

If you're interested in pursuing a career in television production, graphic design or computer animation, you may be able to earn your bachelor's degree in Digital Media at FSCJ.

The Florida Board of Education approved the program on June 21st, and pending approval of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the BAS in Digital Media will be launched in the fall of 2012 at South Campus and Deerwood Center.

You can learn more about this exciting development in my interview with South Campus and Deerwood Center President Denis Wright. Dr. Wright led the writing team for the proposal development.

The FSCNetwork team also interviewed students in the Digital Media/Multimedia Technology Associate in Science program to get their reaction to the new bachelor's degree program.

Digital Media is one of seven bachelor's degree programs currently in planning and development.  Stay tuned to FSCNetwork for the latest information on these programs.
